Designed by Robert Trent Jones, and opened in1964 it is often voted amongst the top 10 courses in Europe.
It boasts well established vegetation with pine, cork oaks, eucalyptus and palm trees.
Water hazards play an important role here, affecting holes 12, 13 and 14. The 16th , 17th and 18th seem to make the course appear longer than its 6807 yards, but the great consolation is the total lack of rough on the immaculately groomed course.
